Art of Love's Transcendental Inquıry
only the right questions open new doors
Buse Kurtar Eyol
Philosopher of Love and Meaning
I graduated from Robert College and hold a bachelor's and master's degree in Philosophy from Boğaziçi University. I wrote my thesis on Love, Reason, and Transcendence. In the Cognitive Science and Language master's program at the University of Barcelona, I deepened my understanding of how language shapes our perception, belief systems, world of meaning, communication — essentially our entire life.
I integrated the systemic perspective of Family Constellation training — which I received from the Hellinger® School, founded by the discipline's originator, and from Svagito R. Liebermeister, one of the field's pioneers — with the somatic wisdom of Vagus and QiGong practices.
Through my individual and group work using my method, "Art of Love's Transcendental Inquiry", I guide people to understand that recurring cycles are how life communicates with them, and to help them move past the obstacles they get stuck on.

When I started this work, I wanted to understand my anger. What I was really looking for wasn't just to control my anger — it was to hear what it was trying to tell me, to see why I kept getting hurt in the same places, and to be able to look at myself more honestly. Over nine sessions and about four months, I learned to look at myself from the inside rather than the outside. I realized that beneath the events I was visibly experiencing were entirely different feelings and old stories. As I got closer to myself, I began to see that many of the burdens I'd thought were mine for years actually weren't. This process was very challenging at times — sometimes I wanted to run away, sometimes it hurt a lot. But looking back today, I see that my biggest transformation came exactly from those confrontations.
One of the most important realizations for me was understanding that the person my anger was really directed at was my father. This awareness let me see the roots of many reactions I'd had throughout my life. I no longer fight my anger or try to suppress it — I try to understand what it's trying to protect. Doing so lets me approach both my anger and myself with more compassion.
This work also gave me the courage to make choices. I ended a relationship I had kept in uncertainty for a long time. It wasn't easy — it hurt, it was hard, but it was freeing. Today, for the first time, I feel I can make choices not to avoid losing someone else, but to avoid losing myself. That means a great deal to me.
One of the most beautiful changes in my life has been my relationship with my son. The invisible walls between us have slowly come down. We can hear each other more easily now and experience love more naturally. The strengthening of our bond has been one of the most precious gifts of this journey.
My view of the people close to me has also changed. I used to see people not as they are, but as I wished them to be. My expectations were far greater than what they could carry, which constantly led me to disappointment and anger. Now I can accept that everyone has their own story, their own capacity, and their own limits. This acceptance has brought me great lightness.
Perhaps the most important thing this work gave me was giving up looking for my center outside myself. I learned to take responsibility for my emotions, to be able to return to myself when I need to, and to build a more solid place within. I feel more rooted.
I'm still learning today, still transforming — but I'm much closer to myself now. I can hear myself more clearly and make choices from awareness rather than fear. This journey introduced me not only to my anger, but to myself.
Thanks to the mirror Buse held up for me during this process, and the questions she asked, I got to know sides of myself I hadn't seen in a long time. Rather than giving me answers, she opened up a space where I could find my own. I'm deeply grateful to her for this. This journey isn't an ending for me — it's the beginning of a more real, more free, and more genuine relationship with myself.
